Tempo living’s home build process, in six simple steps
- Visit our website or visit one of our display homes and discuss your needs with one of our friendly consultants.
- Find the home design that suits your land, your needs, is the size you want and works within your budget.
- An estimate will be provided which will include your chosen design, site costs and any floorplan options or upgrades you have selected.
- Pay your initial deposit to enable a Contour Survey and Soil Test to be carried out on your land which will allow Tempo to prepare your fixed price tender. *Subject to land access.
- Your fixed price tender will be prepared based on your selections and site findings. Included in your tender will be a full set of working drawings for you to review and make any changes if required.
- Upon acceptance of your tender, we will prepare your Home Building Agreement which includes your contract tender and full set of plans.
- To enable us to proceed to the approvals stage, you sign your Home Building Agreement and pay your deposit.
- Once your deposit has been paid and the Home Building Agreement signed, we commence working on your file, ensuring all required documentation has been received to enable your new home to be built.
- We will obtain building approvals and complete construction documentation.
- This process does have variables such as BASIX report requirements, or from Council, the Certifier and/or the Land Developer requirements.
- Upon receipt of all approvals, you will need to provide a Letter of Authority to Commence Construction from your lending authority to confirm you have finance in place to commence construction.
- Materials will be ordered, and your site prepared to commence construction of your new home.
- You will be introduced to your Site Manager who will provide you with regular updates throughout your build and invite you to visit your home and answer any questions that may arise during construction.
- When the externals are complete it is now time to start working on the internals of your new home in preparation for practical completion.
- You will be invited to walk through your new home with your Site manager to have a final inspection prior to handover.
- Upon settlement you will meet your Site Manager on site who will walk you through your new home and provide you will your keys and now all you have to do is move in and enjoy your new Tempo Living Home.
- As your settle into your new home, it is completely normal for some areas of your home to require additional attention, this is covered by your 90-day warranty period.

** The Tender Fee and Tender Acceptance Fee are utilised to commission Consultant Reports and to provide services to prepare your Tender and Building Contracts. The Tender Fee and Tender Acceptance Fee are non-refundable in the event that you do not proceed to a Building Contract. Please speak with a Tempo Living Sales Consultant for complete details, specification, inclusions and Guarantees. All inclusion selections are to be made from the Tempo Living range.
